Fort Wayne Ballet is in its 67th season and serves as the longest-running professional ballet company and academy in Indiana. Our mission is to feed the spirit and spark the imagination through the highest caliber dance education, performance experiences, and community engagement.

About their performance on March 2nd:

“Are You Ready”choreographed by Saki Morimoto

Set to the famous Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5, a couple takes part in a lighthearted argument as they get ready to leave the house. It’s a witty, quirky, and humorous interplay between two.


“Ribbon Pas de Deux”staged by Karen Gibbons-Brown

Ribbon Pas de Deux is a section of the ballet La Fille Mal Gardee, choreographed by Jean Dauberval. Lise and Colas are in love, but forbidden to be together. They dance together in secret, performing a charming, intricate ribbon dance.

“Carnival of the Animals”choreographed by Tracy Tritz

Carnival of the Animals is set to Camille Saint-Saëns’ humorous musical suite of 14 movements. This whimsical, short ballet tells the story of a birthday girl who, when she goes to sleep, is visited by a cast of animals that come to life in her bedroom.
