Embrace the joy of the holiday season as Fort Wayne Ballet brings magic to the stage with The Nutcracker! Watch the Nutcracker Prince come to life and guide Clara through a blizzard of snowflakes to the Land of Sweets, to be greeted by delightful dancing candies and treats. Enjoy this cherished holiday tradition and allow yourself to be whisked away by the beloved Tchaikovsky score and beautiful dancers of Fort Wayne Ballet.
Fort Wayne Ballet is in its 69th season and serves as the longest-running professional ballet company and academy in Indiana. Our mission is to feed the spirit and spark the imagination through the highest caliber dance education, performance experiences, and community engagement.
What’s New for 2025: Many exciting things are happening for this season’s presentation of The Nutcracker. On stage patrons will see many new costumes, including a new Mother Ginger and changes to the Land of Sweets. We are thrilled to announce the inclusion of local dancers from Defiance Dance Studio in this years’ show!
